Pastor Alan Wu didn’t grow up going to church—he was born into an atheist family in Hong Kong and moved to the U.S. when he was 9 years old. But everything changed in 2005, when a coworker from his computer job introduced him to Jesus. That moment sparked a brand-new journey of faith that completely changed his life! 

Since then, Pastor Alan has been part of Promise Kid City at Promise Ministries International—first as a Praise Leader, then an event planner, large group coordinator, and now as the Children’s Pastor since 2009. 

He loves finding creative and fun ways to teach kids about God—through skits, games, worship, and unforgettable Bible moments. Pastor Alan believes that when families and the church work together, kids grow strong in faith and love for Jesus. 

He met his wife, Min, while serving together in children’s ministry, and together they’re raising four amazing kids—Matthias, Marcus, Manny, and Alaina. When he’s not at church, you can probably find Pastor Alan playing basketball, badminton, or hanging out with family and friends.
